The session of WEcontract BCN on the creation of moodboards for contract projects explained the theory and practice of this creative technique to interior professionals, architects and decorators.
In the technical session that took place yesterday in the showroom of WEcontract BCN, the professionals could learn the theoretical and practical concepts necessary to create tactile moodboards that are used to present contract projects. The brands of the showroom Apartmueble and Grupo Lober collaborated in the session, as well as the company FINSA, who gave the "Workshop #moodboardwithfinsa".
The moodboard or board of inspiration is a creative technique frequently used to expose ideas or projects. To create one, you start with a board where you add images, tactile elements of different nature, even text on a colored background and / or textures to help sharing an idea.
The session began with an introduction by Ornella Carrillo, manager of Apartmueble, and José Bertolín, commercial director of Grupo Lober. This preamble considered the importance of the correct choice of the equipment - furniture and flooring specifically - to give character to contract interior design projects and thus achieve personalized results.
After that the practical workshop started, entitled "Workshop #moodboardwithfinsa", that was given by Leslie Helfrich, from the department of interior design and design of FINSA, one of the main Spanish companies dedicated to the transformation of wood. During her presentation, Leslie Helfrich emphasized that the moodboard or board of inspiration is an agile tool that allows you to materialize concepts, as well as to facilitate the communication with the clients, and explained how to make it and present it properly. After the presentation of the four current sociocultural macro-trends, the practical and participative workshop began with all the attending professionals.
This workshop is part of the technical sessions that are periodically developed in WEcontract BCN, focused on expanding the knowledge and spreading the latest innovations of the contract sector to hotel developers, purchasing managers from hotel companies, architects and interior designers.
