On 26 April, WEcontract BCN showroom was visited by a group of Saudi women entrepreneurs as part of the first reverse mission organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa and Asharqia, bringing to Barcelona women from Arabia Saudí that they are part of the first generation which the men have left them to work.
The group was formed by businesswomen from wealthy families whose family businesses are now headed by them. In fact, with the exception of her spokeswoman, 38-year-old Hind al-Zahid, for all of them she was the first time they left their country.
The visit of these 20 businesswomen to the showroom was organized by CENFIM, a furniture cluster and innovation center in habitat and manager of WEcontract BCN, with the aim of facilitating their contact with Catalan companies and thus favoring future commercial relations.
