The Grupo Planeta magazine Interiors once again awarded awards in Madrid to the best of the year in an emotional gala to celebrate the Decoration of Change. Born with the aim of celebrating the talent and success of the great professionals in the design, architecture, art and interior design sector, the Interior Awards arrived, on October 21, at their VII Edition with the commitment to reward Best of the Year: young creatives, established designers and companies, masters in capital letters and innovative products.
Held for the first time at the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, the awards ceremony recognized the effort to face the challenges that we have experienced in recent times as a society, challenges that have accelerated some of the most relevant changes that this generation will experience. Therefore, Interiors dedicated this Edition to all those who share with it this way of understanding decoration and are postulated as active in this new challenge: the one that will make our homes a better place in the world, in which to live, disconnect and , above all, be happy.
Martina Klein presented the exclusive gala, which was attended by a large number of designers, communicators and "socialites", such as Tomás Alía, Cristina Villanueva, Marina Castaño, Elsa Anka, Erico Navazo, Nuria March and Fiona Ferrer, in addition to the Group president Planeta and Atresmedia, José Creuheras, and the president of Prisma Publicaciones, Laura Falcó Lara. The jury, made up of, among others, personalities from the field of design and architecture such as Pascua Ortega, José Pedro Torrubia, Juli Capella, Ramón Benedito, Pilar Civis, Benedetta Tagliabue, or Nani Marquina, chose to reward the ability of the winners to transform a space and endow it not only with beauty and personality, but also, to do so with sustainability in mind. Along these lines, Decosan won the award for the best "Author's bathroom of the year" for its Alma collection, designed by the Barcelona interior design studio CírculoCuadrado Design. This rewarded the talent for designing beautiful and sustainable “living spaces”. The prestigious journalist and influencer Mónica de Tomás presented the award to Ismael Juárez Brand Manager from Decosan and Maribel Caballero and Ismael Barajas from CírculoCuadrado.
New Alma collection by CírculoCuadrado Design
The soul is the essence, it is that not palpable that forges the identity of each element and individual. This is this collection by CírculoCuadrado for Decosan, a collection born from the very nature of the materials that compose it, finishes and shapes in their purest aspect. With minimalist lines, Alma is organized in different formats to provide a solution to a wide range of surfaces, by joining them. The integration of singular pieces, such as columns or vanity elements, make each composition unique, with personality.
Alma defines a bathroom concept that can be integrated into the decoration of the rest of the home, incorporated into the rest area of a suite.
The possibility of double use of this collection is one of its singularities, the washbasin area and the vanity area are merged into a single piece.
Oak woods and a range of lacquers in deep and intimate colors create Alma's palette of finishes, a studied selection of noble materials that convey harmony and order. “Decosan commissioned our studio to shape this first Atelier author's collection, a collaboration that we have enjoyed to the fullest, both for the trust placed in us and for the freedom given when creating a series that talks about us and for us, CírculoCuadrado ”.
