This morning, we were pleased to hold the inauguration of WEcontract BCN, in an event overseen by Felip Puig, the Minister of Business and Employment of the Catalan Government. Other attendees included representatives of ACCIÓ and media outlets specializing in design, architecture and hotel equipment.
This showroom specializing in interior design for hotels and collective spaces, located on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, is a project coordinated by CENFIM with the support of ACCIÓ, and it is open from now onwards to design professionals (architects and interior designers) and developers with the aim of creating an important meeting point and source of inspiration.
As such, WEcontract is the base of operations and platform for exhibiting the products, innovations and trends in the sector for the 13 participating companies: Apartmueble (HORECA furnishings), Decosan (bathrooms), Dormity (sleep systems), FEDE BCN (electrical mechanisms), Grupo Lober (wallpapers, paints and carpets), Lasser (bath screens and glass wall decoration), Lamparas Disseny (decorative lighting), Marcomueble (pictures), Mosaics Torra (hydraulic mosaics), Muebles Rojas (furnishings and parquet flooring), European home decoration - Grupo Murtra (textiles), NMC Ibérica (decorative moldings and wall coverings) and Rovira (bathroom fittings).
With visits by appointment, at WEcontract BCN, visitors will find a showroom that recreates different settings. Specifically, it presents conceptual prototypes of hotel rooms with three levels of finish (beach, urban and deluxe), three bathroom spaces, lobby areas, bar/lounge and outdoor zones.
Moreover, professionals also have access to a technical space exhibiting each company’s products, as well as catalogues and work desks.
WEcontract BCN has scheduled a series of activities throughout the year, including workshops and sessions focused on disseminating the latest innovations and trends in the sector of interest for architects, interior designers and specialist developers.
